A huge thanks to those of you who have stuck with me, I can't believe it's been a month since I last wrote a post! I completely fell off the radar and everytime I sat down to write a post, something else would pop up. Following on from my last Ramble, I've branched out a bit and have now started to eat cereal as well as pasta, my mum would be proud of my healthy diet.
So where have I been? Excellent question... here, there and everywhere. At the beginning of May, I hopped on an avion and popped over to Edinburgh for a weekend, like you do. It was less of a sight-seeing touristy trip and more of a catch up with my not-so-little anymore goddaughter! She has just turned 10 which makes me feel ancient, I can't believe how much she has grown since the last time I saw her and now for the smooshy part, I'm so proud of her and her brother and sister. It's such a shame that I only get to see them a couple of times a year so I try to make the most of every trip. For those of you who are from Edinburgh or visiting, I can definitely recommend Dynamic Earth, it's fab for all ages!
I then came back to France and fell into panic exam mode, I've had 3 exams in the last 5 days and they may have well asked me questions in Spanish, the amount I understood. It's just so difficult to retain information anyway for me, let alone in another language. But we'll see. I'm trying not to dwell on them too much, three down, one to go and then I'm free to bask in the sunshine.
I went a bit crazy whilst revising/ learning everything for the first time and ended up booking 10 million flights. So as of Sunday, I'm off to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Porto, Bologna, Milan, San Sebastian then back to Bordeaux, just in time for the wine festival. Such a jetset lifestyle I lead. I've just got that travelling bug and I figured this may be one of the only oppurtunites that I get to just up and leave, I can't wait to go off and be Holly the Explorer, expect to see thousands of pictures. If anyone has any recommendations what to see or do, they would be more than welcome.
What are your Summer plans?
